ADHD assessment and treatment
ADHD assessment
Your assessment consists of three appointments with our psychiatrist and specialist nurse. All three appointments are booked when you contact our secretary, so you know the plan from the start. The waiting time for your first appointment is a maximum of two weeks. Before your first appointment, we will send you a questionnaire to complete and return.
Medication treatment
We offer a structured medication treatment programme, whether you have been assessed at our clinic or already have an ADHD or ADD diagnosis from another clinic or psychiatrist.
The programme includes five consultations with our psychiatrist and specialist nurse, with monitoring of your response to treatment and any side effects. Before your first appointment, we will send you a questionnaire to complete and return.
Prices and Services
ADHD assessment
An adult ADHD assessment includes a clinical interview and assessment of symptoms. It consists of three appointments:
1. Initial consultation (10–15 minutes)
You meet our psychiatrist to discuss your needs and the next steps in the assessment.
2. Diagnostic interview (60 minutes)
Our specialist nurse conducts a diagnostic interview covering ADHD symptoms in childhood and adulthood. You are welcome to bring a relative.
3. Final consultation (5–10 minutes)
Our psychiatrist reviews the findings, makes the final diagnostic assessment and explains whether the criteria for ADHD are met.

Medication treatment
The medication treatment programme includes five consultations:
1. Initial consultation (10–15 minutes)
You meet our psychiatrist, who agrees a treatment plan with you.
2. Follow-up consultations (15 minutes each)
Your follow-up appointments are with our specialist nurse. Your dose is reviewed and adjusted during the programme, and we monitor your well-being, blood pressure, response to treatment and any side effects.
